I called Lesly last minute on Thursday for a Saturday cake. I stopped by to try a slice before purchasing the cake. I could not believe how incredibly soft, moist and delicious it was. We had family over, from ages 7 to 81 and even the pickiest of eaters LOVED the cake.

What can we say? Our wedding cake was PERFECT! We had our wedding at Deer Creek Golf Club, to which Cakes D'Sabores is a preferred vendor. Let me preface by stating that I'm super extra as a mother, my son is 2.5 years old and if he tells me he wants something, it's reasonable and he has been good ... well, I try to make it happen. My husband shakes his head at me often!!

My son and have been binge watching baking shows because I love baking and he loves helping me. So finished an entire season of Sugar Rush on Netflix and during the show my son started pointing to the television and stating, "mommy, I want to go there and eat that," or he would say, "mommy, can we go see the bakers."

I looked up bakers in the area, that had actual cake slices for sale and we found this bakery. My son loved it because they have a lot of pretty, fondant cakes everywhere but they also sell coffee, food and pastries. My son loves chocolate, smart kid, and he opted for the chocolate rolled cake. The price is super fair and the best part they do cakes. My son's birthday is in May so I'm thinking of giving this place a try. The quality was great and we may stop by for breakfast as a family.

The restaurant is clean, they offer breakfast options, milk shakes, cake by slice, pastries, a Colombian meringue pastry (my son loves), empanadas. The lady behind the register and another baker were very friendly. We will be back!

We needed a cake for our sort-of destination wedding in South Florida and a family friend recommended Aleida's bake shop - Cakes D'Sabores. As we began the process of designing a cake, Aleida's daughter, Lesly, was incredibly helpful and patiently worked through all our ideas. She was so detail-oriented, took copious notes, and hosted us for a very extravagant and delicious cake tasting.

On the day of the wedding, our cake proved to be otherworldly. In quality, taste, and presentation, the girls at Cakes D'Sabores did a truly outstanding job. Somehow, they not only managed to create tiers and tiers of coconut rum cake, chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and creme, vanilla custard cake, and a carrot cake layer, but they frosted, decorated, and supplied florals too - all to utmost perfection. Some of our guests are still raving about the cake!

Today was my first time trying this little gem and upon entering just knew I would love it. When I walked in it smelled sooo good like fresh baked bread or something. I ended up ordering the vegetarian sandwich ($7.99 , comes with chips and a pickle), which I highly recommend it was really good, all the ingredients tasted fresh. They have a wide variety of pastries, nothing out of the ordinary to a bakery, pretty much the norm...cakes, muffins, cookies, macaroons, doughnuts, cupcakes etc.
I also ended up getting a few chocolate chip cookies and a blueberry muffin which were both REALLY good. The prices are all fair and the staff is friendly.

Their cakes are also pretty good, they stay moist even 2 days after i took it home and we also ordered a tres leches cake (3 milks cake) and it was highly satisfying. Thry are about to come out with some new salad options and soup in the next few weeks so stay tuned!9

Checking out this whole in the wall with amazing cakes!!! Packed with all types of custom cakes and pastries hidden gem in Deerfield !! Will be returning soon! I bought a slice of the strawberry filled cake, and one with coconut , the cake was very moist and packed with flavor :)
